Kiannah Lagunas was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and grew up in Spring, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) with a degree in Biology. Kiannah is currently a fourth year at the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Appa!

Monica Do was born in New York and grew up in Round Rock, Texas. She graduated with a degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin (Texas Fight!) and currently attends the University of Houston College of Optometry. Monica enjoys snacking, thrifting, and watching the newest trending shows on Netflix.

Emily Van graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She is currently a fourth year at the University of Houston College of Optometry. In her free time, she likes to travel, try popular food spots, and spend time with her family and friends.

Tammy Nguyen received her Bachelor’s in Biotechnology at the University of Houston (Go Coogs!). Tammy remains a Coog as she is currently a fourth year at the College of Optometry. During her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, playing sports, baking, and is an avid binge watcher.
All will graduate with their Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in May of 2023.
